But seriously...'shipping' is such a weird term :XD: I don't actually support any of these (especially not Brock and a broom, hurhur) bar Ash/Misty and May/Drew. Jessie/James is a possibility but I can't honestly see anything coming from it, more of a really close best friend thing, imo.

Shipping IS a weird term. First time I ever heard it was when I was little (like, 10 or so) and I immediately pictured the two characters that were being "shipped" sailing together on a little boat. XD Wonder where the term came from?

I think it's a shortened form of 'relationshipping'... for some reason 'relationship' has become a verb when used in this context. (e.g. "I'm gonna write a fanfic where I ship Lucario and Sir Aaron!")
